I’m enjoying a 2-day respite on the banks of the Mississippi River in St. Paul, MN– here for the 125th Anniversary of the ECC Annual Meeting.

IMG_0416Being a “mountain girl” I’m in a foreign land here– especially as it comes to rivers.

I remember a friend from the east once laughed when I took him on a mountain drive and referred to our Big Thompson as a “river.” Walking along the Mississippi one understands why he would laugh. [...]
